the one rule to remember for your wedding

There are no rules

Do what you want.

its your wedding. Your day. IF there HAD to be one rule.

It would be to have fun. Brides and grooms are thrown “Do this” “Do that’s” non-stop when preparing for a wedding. And I just want to emphasize that in the end, do what you want. Don’t let anyone make you feel bad for the number of people going, the location, the food. None of that matters.

At the center of every wedding we have one person…. who fell in love with another person.

The rest….does… not… matter.

And to fellow wedding photographers. When you tell clients “you have to do this” “you have to do that”. Imposing those rules, can make a client feel like dog shit. Sometimes they can’t, sometimes they are limited with budget or location. Most of the time, the couples are just trying to work with what they can.

It’s YOUR job to let them no that no matter what, the day will be beautiful and you are going to capture stunning images.
